On my Lhead there was an Alternator added to it. Not sure if it is a GM. It was wired into the factory style voltage regulator

    Back side of it

front, not a real good shot but shows the fan behind the pulley.

After doing some googling, i just couldnt match up the rear of the alternator to any GM version that came up.

What do you think it is?

Don't know the type/brand of alternator, but that is a creative use of a 2A windshield lollypop.

A multiple bolt mounting (2 or 3) was used on industrial equipment. If it has an unusually wide pulley groove then this is likely what it was originally used on. If this is the case then you will probably find that it is a low amperage output like 35 amp.

It does have 3 mount holes. two closer to each other (the ones at top) and one on the bottom. 35 should be fine for everything the flatty will be running :)
