I was worried about the chain set up. What protects it from hitting rocks or like you said sand? This is pretty cool in concept at least because it is above the bottom of the frame. I sure hope it works as good on rocks as it does on the street.

    disc brake set up

I used the All Pro off road disc and caliper. I had to mill the opening a little on the disc and redrill the holes to fit the T-case flange. A friend made a cross member to attach the caliper to. We then ran a cable trhough a pulley (see clutch pic) to a 70' or 71' Chevy P/U foot parking brake mechanism. I tried using the original hand pull but found out there was not enough leverage. So far it is working great, but I only have about 100-150 miles on everything.

Going out this weekend to try out the new SM465, first time wheeling it. Hopefully the new clutch cable/pulley set up will work well. I am planning on getting it pretty twisted. I will let you know how it does.

    clutch cable

Well the clutch cable worked great all day. I had the Jeep in rocks, mud and twisted up really good. At one point all I could see was blue sky and I had it up on 1 wheel. The homemade clutch set up worked without a hitch.

If you need better pictures please let me know. I am trying to get a parts list together also. So far I am very happy with this set up. I can actually walk after a full day of driving now!

I had some pics in my album here before the mess last month. Can I send them to you in a PM? I will get some better pics as soon as I can. I have had the Jeep up on one wheel and the clutch still works great.
