Well a Club member had a old trailer that he wanted to build up.. he had it for a few years but wanted it to be able to go more places so he stripped it and did a spring over and then I got involved and had some fun :)

He said he wanted to be able to load dirt bikes in the back so I made him a tailgate

    All pics here:

Before the spring over or me getting involved..

I was so pleased I built another trailer :) you can't pull it behind your jeep but you can put your jeep on it...

We found hinge online.. I will try to find site...

But i think it was called a piano hinge.. it is very thin and runs almost entire length of tailgate...

Bruiser - Good to see you around!!! Awesome trailer.

Hate to hijack, but I was wondering how Darren has been? Haven't heard from him in looooooong time either. I know he sold his project, but tell him that he's welcome to stop by the board anyway! (we still let Baby John hang around :D )

I emailed Darren a few weeks back with a lot of people we hadn't heard from. He's doing fine and promised to stop in again. It's been rough since his divorce/separation and he was in another accident which added to his back problems. I invited him also.
