    Found out today after installing my shifters to the D300 that my original tranny cover will in no way even come close to fitting (I had a slight...SLIGHT hope that it would come close enough). I can make alot of stuff, but im not a good sheet metal/thin steel fab guy. So, to all of you who have ran into this issue and have built your own, i would LOVE me some photos of what you guys have come up with. Thank you in advance!!! Here is a peak at what i need to cover:

    I used a oil pan from a TH350 automatic trans.

    Very cleaver. I happen to have a 4L60-E sitting in my storage unit that wont need that bottom pan. Thanks. Anyone else?

    Thanks! I liked the round corners. A square box just didn't look right.
