My stone shields on the '74 where mangled so I took them off. Now I can't seem to find a source for new ones. The manual says they are called "stone shields". Anybody have any ideas where I could get these or if they are called something different?

Page 11, Fig 35 shows a good pic of the shields.

    Thanks,

Also called dust shields or splash shields. Morris 4x4 sells them SPLASH SHIELD, I'm sure there's a lot of other places. Most folks don't bother installing new ones, some folks do.

Actually these are attached to the axle shaft. They were pressed on to each side of the axle with the inner stone shield butting up against the oil seal.

Those are sometimes called slingers as well. R&P may have then. You will need to tell them if you have disc or drum brake outers as they are different between the two. They can be reached at 503-557-8911. They have a website with their email but I'm on my phone right now.
