My books are in boxes either in the garage of the house I am in the middle of moving out of or the 4th bedroom in the house I am moving into that I am using as a staging area.

What is the pressure that the fuel pump puts out to the carb?mehh

I think mine has seen it's last round-up. Quit cold on me almost exactly on the halfway mark between the two houses.
The 50% humidity and the 105 in the non-existant shade probably don't help matters much, either.

I am thinking on getting an electric pump to replace the mechanical one. Which has to be an aftermarket one, no vacuum pump on this one.

Standard for the F-134 was from 2.5 to 3.75 psi with engine running. One quart per minute. It may possibly be worth pulling the pump apart and checking for debris in the valves.

A lot of people use an in-line regulator to assure pressure does not go any higher, to prevent carb flooding on rough ground.

Why go electric? Pressure-only mechanical pumps are available.

I'd replace the mechanical pump. I put an electric pump in series with the mechanical pump. I mounted it close to the fuel tank with a switch so I can fill the fuel bowl if it's been sitting for a while, or to get rid of vapor lock, or in case of a mechanical fuel pump failure.

Got no flow at all from the pump. And the mechanicals are not readily available in my area. I need it right away and can get the electric model at any of the FLAPS around.
