just got some new ones and they are bigger than the originals, fit the outer portion of the brake hub instead of the tapered shaft. will they work or am i going to have to send them back?

the early seal sealed on the axle: Jeep P/N 935612

the later sealed on the inner hub surface: Jeep P/N 914802

both should be a seal/metal retainer 1 piece job

there were some paper gaskets sandwiched in between as well

I think it's been discussed previously that the early seals were no longer made/available.

I have seen the older style on line, and can't remember where. I do remember that it was pricey, about 20 -25 bucks a pop.
