Reason I ask is a have a local seller who has new (made by Nanking, overseas) 7.50 x 16 tires. I just realized my 2 trailers have 7.00 x 16 tires.

I also found another 4.5x16 rim the other day at the boneyard that had a 6.00 or 6.50 x16 tire on it (can't remember, threw away the tire already it was shot).

    How tall are these tires?
    6.00, 6.50, 7.00, 7.50 x16.

Is the first number the height of one sidewall? In other words 7.00+7.00+rim size 16=30?
Doesn't seem so because my 7.00x16s are taller than the 30x9.50 procomp at's on my Jeep.

Just curious how much taller the 7.50s will be.

The 7.50 is the section width, just like the 9.50 on your tires. 7.50's might be around 1/2 " taller than 7.00's. You really need a 5" rim for 7.50's.

Any more info you might have on those Nanking tires, like model # or name and approx. prices? Always looking for new sources!

7919306910 <--EBAY item number, for some reason I can't get the link to copy. It is a good deal for me cause he is on island, don't know what shipping would be like. This is a 10 ply rated tire according to the auction, so it is way overkill for a 1/4 ton trailer. Heck, you might not even need to put air in it to hold up the trailer!
