    Nice find --that trans is useless --mail it to me downstate for proper disposal! ;) What part of MI are you in?

    "civilian" spec Jeeps were sprinkled across military motor pools in the U.S. I often signed out the only hardtop CJ5 (late 70's) from our pool for *ahem* exploring on midnight shift ;)

    Well, I'm starting to buy into it. This, then, is very probably the elusive V6/4 spd of tales spun round the campfire. I suppose congratulations are in order. Congrats and thanks for sharing. Perhaps a special feature is order at some point in time.:v6: :beer:

    I'm still trying to buy the '70 :v6: t18 from a buddy of mine. Has a taco'd frame, but the drivetrain is fine...
