69 Cj5 Windshield - Where To Find

My 69 windshield is cracked and I had expected it to be an easy replacment. Now I realize how wrong I was. My 69 has the bottom mounted wipers and smaller style windshield. I havent found anyone yet that sells a replacement for it online. Any ideas? I would rather not change it to the newer style if I don't have to.

I have a locking spline tool that I can loan. Makes putting it in Yourself like 100x easyer

 

I replaced the glass on my '67 recently without a spline tool and I can say it can be done but there is a lot of pain and suffering involved!
I got my glass from kaiserwillys.com. It was a bit spendy, about the same cost as having one custom made, but I figured they had made/sold enough that it would be right.
I was a disappointed the glass wasn't quite as blue/green as the original glass though.

 

I had two made by a Local Glass Shop, it was only around $100.00 installed. I had a Grey tinted glass cut first, big mistake, could not see through it with the Sun behind me, it reflected off the dark glass. I had a light green tinted one cut and all is good now. I gave the Grey one to a member with a hard top.

 

I was looking for a gasket for my windshield and found jeepglass.com, I have not ordered from them yet . Just a thought, take a look , good luck Tom H.
