I picked up this Tux Park on Sunday. It ran till today. lol. Wiring smoked earlier so ill just replace it. Brakes work great. It has most of the Tux Park parts on it but Ill be looking for some items if anyone has a line on any of them. I may sell the hard top I haven't really decided yet. I can't see myself ever using it and I can't stand how they look. I just thought the peeps of this board might like to see what I found.

Nice Jeep. Some of the missing Tux-specific parts may be difficult to find though.

It looks like the original color was Sierra Blue from some spots visible on the firewall. At least you got the original front bumper, bench seat, and hood badges. Does your Tux still have the column shifter, or has it been converted to cane shift?
Your hinges may still be decent chrome, protected under the paint. Paint stripper should remove the paint without harming the chrome, just remove them first.
    Looks like a good start!

The hood hinges and windshield hinges are chrome. Still has column shift with the single shifter T-case. 60/40 seats are in great shape. Windshield latches are still chrome swell as the grab handle. Im currently trying to remove as much as possible of the green as I can. Its got pretty good floor board rust. PO thought glued in carpet was a great idea. The top, doors, and glass are in great shape, just a little surface rust on the top.

They are exactly the same. That's great that you have them! The other difficult part to find is the rear folding license plate holder. I have one that needs the glass for the chrome housing though.

Thats awesome that you have the plate holder. I need that too. I also need rear tail lights. I will chrome some new black ones if I have too. Those rusted out ones on eBay I managed to talk the owner down considerably but Im still thinking on it.

Ya, those are worth $50 tops. The only good parts left are the inside plastic cups and one lens. I check every day, you never know what will pop up.

As Beach66Bum replied, the front and rear bumpers for a Tux are identical. There should be only 3 square holes on the face, that all.
The two "center" holes line up with the front frame ends, and the rear uses stand-off brackets that bolt to the rear crossmember. The third outboard square hole is positioned on the left (drivers) side, both front and rear. This hole is used for the license bracket on the front only. All the bolt holes use a stainless capped carriage bolt (bumper bolt).

I have a Tux bumper on my Avatar, PO had a plow mounted on it, I turned it upside down and covered the plow damage with a personal plate. The rear bumper was in good shape put it on the front with bumperettes on the rear, the Tux bumper on the back covered my drawbar and made it hard to hook up a trailer. Does anyone know if Tuxedo Park package included a drawbar? I put a different frame under mine, the factory frame was cracked from the frame mount plow, and rust. The good frame I used had a drawbar on it.

Do you still have the brackets that are used to mount the rear bumper. I need some.
