yet again I have to pass on a good deal due to room and time. Found this for 1000 says it turns over so it may not take much to make it run. Looks like it has an od worth the price if it does.

No title, and although it looks good as far as rust goes, it's crunched pretty hard on that LR corner. Definitely has an overdrive (or at least a shifter for one!!) but that doesn't add a lot of value to me without knowing the condition.

The overdrive is totally worth having, if it's in good condition. One of the easiest and best modifications you can do to an early CJ.
Unfortunately, most are now 40+ years old and are worn out....right now i have 3 of them with junk planetary hubs. I won't pay more than $350 or so for a used one unless I can disassemble it to check for wear.

Uh overdrive and PTO winch. I'd be getting over there with some cash divided between the pockets. Just saying...

Doesn’t herm still make them? Or are those all old too? Some day I want overdrive. I’d be there if I could swing it just for the pto to overdrive adapter for my 65

A Willys Wagon I bought a couple years ago had a Warn o/d shift lever (complete w/Warn knob), but when I clinbed underneath, there was just a 5-bolt plate on the back of the D18. It was still a good deal, but could have been better!
This Jeep looks like it could be a decent deal if your in a State where you can get a title.

I don’t think it would be cheap to get a title I imagine it would be parts only here, hence my thinking of getting a whole jeep with overdrive for the price of overdrive.
