59 Cj5 F134 Replacement Radiator

The upper hose wasn't long enough to re-use because of the inlet location being on the passenger side instead of the middle of the radiator. The lower hose may have worked, but both of my original hoses were ready for replacement anyway.

 

Went with the flex hoses with a spring inside came out great again thanks for the help

Suggestion - get some oak or other hard wood and make a spacer for the whole length of the bracket, to get rid of the hex nut spacers. Fill the whole gap, top to bottom. Wood will be fine for this, though you could go with fancier materials if you want.

 

Great idea timgr. I will have to add that to my project list. I went with stacked washers instead of hex nuts.

 

you are correct those hex nuts were what i had and for now its my way around so i had to have it done. Cool idea on the oak i think ill try that
