Steering Box model number?

    Does anyone know the what model steering box the '73 had? Someone asked if it was a Saginaw 525 and I had no idea. Mine is manual steering.

    I just dug out the original from my 73 but I could only find the cast S for Saginaw, but could not see any numbers. I guess you'll have to have someone else chime in if the know the model number.

    Is that a three bolt box ? If so, then I think mine is a 525 also. I could'nt find numbers on mine either , just the S cast in it. But maybe I did'nt look hard enough for the numbers.
