    Re: T90A versus T90C

I got three early CJ's ( i love em' all), but I know what your talkin about with that trannys. I pulled a 5 speed auto out of my '64, and it didnt match up with nothin that Jeep sells. I think it is from another vehicle. Any thoughts?

We'll need pics. Was it connected to the stock Hurricane? Any adapter? Any markings (identification, part number, manufacturer) on adapter, if present?

Did I say Auto??? Boy is my face red!! I meant, I gotta 5 speed stick out of a ford. Sorry about the confusion. My '60 has a 4 speed auto, one of my 64's is bone stock with a 3 spd. stick, and the other has teh 5 speed. She reaaaallly moves out, if you know what i mean.

    Or maybe a T5... like from a Mustang (WC-T5?) or maybe it's a T5 from an 80s Jeep?

A T5 should have a casting number of 1352xxxx or 13-52-xxxx on the case of the transmission.
