I'm still trying to figure out how to post pics in the message from my website, www.DanasJeeps.com , but here are two pictures from the day I got her and three showing stages of rocker panel repair. The body wasn't bad except for rocker damage both sides. So far its gotten all new fuel system, stock style components. New brake system, stock style except for Crown flexible, and red, racing brake lines from MC to all 4 drums. 3" Black Diamond military wrap suspension with transfer case lowering kit and pitman arm drop, new axle stops, tranny, xfer and engine mounts. New body mounts as well. Twin sticked the Dana 20, herculined the underside for protection from salt. More pics when humpty-dumpty gets put back together after paint. We're topping $8K right now:twisted: good gracious.

Beautiful sheet-metal work, but it's true. Free only keeps the initial cost down. The rest is the same. The more you work on it the more you find you need to continue to work on it in some cases it can seem endless regardless. Your ability to work sheet-metal will at least make it look beautiful

'FREE' means 'Here, I can not afford to fix this and the wife wants it gone'...

My Free Jeep is 3 years and 2500 bucks down so far, and still frame off.

I didn't think we were suppose to keep track or receipts, all that could be used as evidence later.R) R) R)

I have kept all of my receipts, I have not added them up and I don't plan on it until I finish my jeep. It will be way over 10k though.

Good luck on your free jeep. Your body work is looking great.

I will probably end up in that range. Thats crazy, I have seen some very nice jeeps sell for alot less than that. I guess it is a hobby though, and we will all have nice jeeps when we are finished.

If there's no warranty the receipt goes in the garbage. Just clutter if you ask me. :)
