2a track bar anyone done it?

    the problem with loosin the shakles is no cash for tires or replacment shakles its sitin on 35s if it ends up being caster i can make a jig and rotate the knukles

    is it safe to redrill the shakles and cut them down. got a beter look and it is caster bad the lower cap is be hind the axle center im thinkin a set of 2.5 springs up front will make up for cutin the shakles down plus i think the fronts look a little flat anyways does anyone know where to find just new fronts all im finding is kits i just want springs and u bolts

    They're steel and they mount to the spring pack with the spring centerpin. They're for 2.5-inch wide springs, but you can grind them down. This'll be the easiest way. I'd guess the 6-degree ones would do you. You want about 4-5 degrees positive (bottom in front of top) caster.

    That's a common approach, but in reality it doesn't solve the geometry problem. If you draw a line between the ends of the drag link, that is where the true issue lie; you need to get the ends of the drag link as close to parallel with the ground as possible to get rid of bump steer. The only real solution here is raising the outer attachment point of the drag link (i.e. a Hi-Steer setup), lowering the steering box (not desirable) or a dropped pitman arm that lowers the inboard end of the drag link. Once you get that drag link back close to level, the road manners will vastly improve.

    how bad are these gonna efect my pinion angle b cause my pumkin is almost level and what should i do with the driveline since the rear of the pumkin is going to drop

    One of your rear springs turned opposite the other? Are your nuts on the shackles super tight? They need to be loose enough to move.

    ok this is what ive come up with ,there are already wedges in the front but they are in backwards to raise the back of the pinion. so ill flip them around see if that helps ,im also going to shorten the monster shakles and go with a 3.5 leafs to make the rest of the lift up to clear the tires. any other sugestions would be much apretiated. and thanx again for all your help e1. and she got a little beter now that the big tire is up front. and does any one have an old style 35x12.5x15 without the side lugs with decent tread ill trade your old one for mine with the side lugs

    oh and the shakles are tight but not over tightend when i back them off a little she gets real loose

    Try it without the wedges at all before you mess with the shackles. It might be all you need. Not sure of the wedge degree but 3 degrees can make a big difference on Jeeps like ours.
