    As those who have been following my rebuild thread know, I'm facing my second (!) cracked 232 block for my Mail Jeep rebuild. Both have had splits in the water jacket.

    Before I consider repair, I'd rather have a functional block that hasn't had the crap kicked out of it.

    If you have either a late model 232 "E" or 258 "A" short block that you're no longer in need of, please reach out to me.

    I'll look. it came out of 76 cj5, or pre disc brake 77. P.O. was good on maint, and it runs good, replaced by an LS Chevy, in a crazy almost no expense spared new build.
