Anyone else has the Buick V-6 installed in a M38-A1? As I've been going over, in detail, everything that has been done to my Jeep, I noticed that I have homemade headers. That is fine for now I suppose, but if they start to rust/crack, I'm pretty much screwed. I looked at Advance online I noticed they had a set of ceramic coated 3.8 liter 231 Buick v-6 headers that claimed they would fit on an M38-A1, but I'm not so sure. That funky factory steering thing looks to be exactly in the way. Anyone have any expierence with this?

    Steering's the same as a CJ-5, right?

I bought a set of AA headers for my 4.3 swap into my 69 CJ5 and they didn't fit. I ended up having to cut out 1 1/2" on the tubes to make them clear the fenderwell.  I think when they built them they forgot to allow for the 1" offset to the driver side. Just be aware. I now run exhaust manifolds ;)
