231 Even Fire Wiring

    replacing my 225" with cracked block" with a 79 231 even fire i need to wire the coil. my 225 was a one wire points dist i know i need to get rid of my resistor but the 231 coil has two connections how do i wire the coil thanks...ed

    An HEI distributor only needs one wire to work. The other wire is a rarely used feed for a tach.
