    ok. i think i was misunderstanding the adapter as being behind the transmission to the tcase...

    My t-18 is out of a 76 Wagoneer. I changed the input and used AA's adapter to the bell housing. If I did it again I'd just redrill the bell housing ( steel scattershield) FYI trying to shorten the factory long input proved fruitless as it was too hard to machine.

    Moser did mine (cut, resplined) for $60 round trip when I made mine fit behind an F-head. That was 16 years ago at this point, so they might charge more now. (y)
