    Believe it or not, the original transfer case that came with the Jeep and the SM420 transmission both had cracked housings after they were disassembled and cleaned. I found another pair on line and got them. The new to me Dana 18 I got was a twin stick which I think is better for me since I don't have rig up the single shifter on the side of the transmission case. I got the transfer case pan and rebuild kit from Novak.
