1968 jeepster commando transmission

    I was wondering if anyone can tell me what transmission and transfer case I can put in the Jeepster to replace the 3 speed I would like to put in something with a 4 or 5 speed

    Nothing is going to just bolt in. You can take your pick of many other transmissions from other vehicles that will need to be adapted to the engine and transfer case.

    The Novak site has a good review of suitable transmissions for Jeep vehicles - www.novak-adapt.com

    When you say 4-speed or 5-speed, do you want a 5-speed overdrive transmission, a truck transmission with a granny gear, or an easy shifting 4-speed?

    Why do you want to replace the transfer case?
