No listing on the Rock or TA Performance for 225 or Buick 350 motor mounts. I removed the one mount from the 350 that's going to power Buford and I see it appears to be torn, at least partially. Anybody know where to find new ones? Or is fab time again? Engine came from a Jeep 2500 truck for which there is no mount listed on Rock either. Nor for a Wagoneer.

It was always my understanding that the 350 used the same mount as the 225 but I could be wrong. Doesn't matter really since there is nothing listed for a 225 either....in a Jeep or an old Buick (pre Jeep V6 years).

Found some for the mid-late 70's Buick 3.8 and 350. Not sure if they'd work or not. No left and right on the 350 listing. Same each side. Thoughts?

Everything is of brand names I've never heard of.

I put 1975 Buick Skylark motor mounts in my 69. Rock auto has those in stock.

    Yep you're right.
The part #2382 mentioned above says it fits a variety of late 70s-early 80's GM products, but it looks like a might work for a Dauntless Jeep.

Edit- I've been looking around online & it looks like the Crown junk is the only mounts available.

If you get the crowns, make sure you mark your driver and passenger side mounts when you take them out of the package. They are not well marked and are difficult to differentiate.

Yea. I gotta take the other side off and see if it has the same P/N as the one I already have off. I may not need the cj style L and R mounts. Fireball has basically the same set up I'm doing so I may be able to use the the available later Buick mounts that are the same for both sides. Went through the L and R thing on my cj and I'm not convinced I got it right. Seems like the right side exhaust hangs lower than the left side.

Have you called NAPA or any old parts store to see if they have some old stock laying around.

Not yet. NAPA is about the only old parts house around here anymore. But I'll ask my guy there when I get closer and check my numbers.

Thanks Steve. Lots of info there. NAPA shows no mount for a 71 V6 cj5 on their website as of today. No result for a 1970 2500 Gladiator with a 350 V8 either. Seems that the parts (from NAPA anyway), per exact application, have dried up since 13 years ago but that is to be expected. They are available elsewhere by searching a different application though. Maybe at NAPA too when I get to asking for mounts for a '77 Buick Apollo or something. For how much longer nobody knows.

I really have to compare the 2 mounts on the 350 first before I order anything. The 350 from a Gladiator truck may have used the same mount on each side or maybe used different mounts side to side like a cj. But it's going in a cj frame so I dunno. I'll figure it out and now that I've got numbers thanks to you guys, I'll get something to bolt on and see where it lands. My guy at NAPA might find something in his database too so, we got that going for us.

When I searched the part numbers in the post with a vehicle in the box the web site showed no stock. When I searched the part number with no vehicle listed they had stock. I even put 10 pcs. in the cart and they had them. Those part numbers are what I used on my V6 and they worked, you are using a 350 so don’t know the difference. What I noticed on the mounts, one mounted had a round hole in it the other mount had an oblong hole in it. Both mounts look the same, if the hole is the reason for the part number not being the same I don’t know

Local NAPA shows the 6021390 in stock in Denver.
Edit: did a little deeper dive on this. The 6021390 is a Balkamp # which is made by Pioneer. Their # is 602382, which doesn't list for any Jeep applications. It lists for a bunch of GM applications, late 70s early 80's with a 3.8 and 4.1. Looks like the other side is a 602384.

Steve: I guess searching by application must be where I went wrong.

Thanks Doug for the deep dive. You too Jeff.

I need to get back into a normal sleep cycle and get back into the garage. It really messes me up. I was going to leave work early on Wednesday when the rain started but since the dill weed coworker on my crew called in that morning AGAIN.....well....I couldn't leave my crew 2 guys short for the rest of the day since bossman had some rainy day work for us to do. This dill weed has been averaging 2 days a month. He's on my shat list. Tired of picking up his slack and now we're all under the eye of the bosses because of him.
