    Transmission / transfer case and axles could be usable given it has a top on it. Might not be water ingress. I've gotten good drivetrain parts out of Jeeps that sat that long. But being mid 70s nothing I would be interested in.

    So…. Is the engine a 402 (bbc-no!), 302 (sbf-no?), or a 304 AMC (pretty sure).
    The frame and powertrain might be salvagable

    Its an AMC V8 of some type....guessing it's a stock 304.
    He's down to $300 now, the wheels are worth more than that if they're useable.
    Should be a disc brake 30 front axle.
