Greetings all. My 73 originally had all drum brakes (power) and did not have a proportioning valve. During my rebuild I have changed over to front disk from a 79 cj5. I am getting ready to start laying out new brake lines and had a question about where to position the proportioning valve. As you can see by the picture, the spots marked with blue tape were the old bellcrank mounting points and that is the hump in the fuel line. I am going with a hydraulic clutch so that area of the frame won't be used. In later years, did they have an angle bracket attached to these points with the pro valve laying on the inside of the frame? It seems to me I saw a picture of one mounted this way.
If anyone has any suggestions or experience on this, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

That's where mine went. Nice flat area just behind the motor mount on the inside of the frame. Bolted through the frame. Hydraulic clutch, also.
