Intake Manifold 74 Cj5 304

Howdy all. Hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving! In a previous post several moons ago I stated I was trying to get a broken bolt out of my intake manifold. No-go, even when trying to weld a nut on and get it out that way (not enough to weld to a nut without welding the nut to the manifold). So here I am in need of a replacement manifold. My only problem is tracking down one with the same stamped number (3217561). I found one on an old ebay post but nothing else. Anybody by chance know of any or have any compatibility chart relating to intake manifolds, if other stamped number version would fit? I haven't taken the carb off yet to remove the manifold but from what I've found I believe it should be spread bore, not square bore. Not looking to replace the carb (2 BBL) to move to square. It does have EGR. Any help is appreciated!

 

I have one, but hadn’t really planned on parting with it. I just removed my 304 and was going to keep it complete for no good reason. Shoot me a PM and we can chat about it. I work ~30 miles south of East Vincent Township according to Google.

 

Did you try putting a wtb ad in the classifieds? Someone might have one available close to you. Never know.

Drill it out. What I have done is drill a hole through a 1/2" price of steel. Same slightly larger than the bolt thread. drill from the opposite side the bolt size. Clamp in in place around the broken bolt. Drill away you have a great guide then pull the remaining threads out.
