Take my money. I like the small footprint and the ability to trace. Really interesting design and seems like it's easy to use. Who has one?

It has little info out there about this unit. Small startup. It doesn't come with a plasma cutter. I like the small footprint of this.. Says it will work with my Hypertherm 45..

Pete, you actually made me lol...
Chris, I spent about three hours watching videos on this little guy. I have a Hypertherm as well, so that part of the equation is taken care of. Kind of hard to justify $2500 right now. There is a video showing how to cut on a piece of 2x2 square tubing, which could be useful for notching and making holes.

    It's soo cute.
If anyone gets this let me know and I'll share my heater recirculation baffle dxf and similar stuff. Your not gonna get rich using this for mass production but for custom on site stuff it has a place.
    Brackets and flanges on command.
You know how many times I've wanted a square hole for a carriage bolt?

What I like about it is the small footprint . I am always making one off tooling for work that I would love to automate to a degree. My shop in in my basement, so the ability to carry out this device with my plasma arc is very appealing.

now to get that new Bridgeport in… should show up next week..

That looks really slick! When I win the lottery, I’ll order one.
I can make the same cuts by hand, just a lot slower with templates.

Thanks. Not sure I need one since I have an overdrive..

The tipping point of making me buy this is that I can learn some sort of CAD. I really super need this because I can engineer and design stuff, but in order to convince other engineers its worth anything, I need to present a drawing. So, the 2700 bucks this thing is costing is less than a cheap class and I get that knowledge and a piece of machinery at the end.

What is a good platform for CAD? It sounds like this machine can use its own software and is compatible with others. Its a real selling point along with the small portable footprint..
Would you like a picture of the receipt? Things gotta ship to me!

Sign up for an educational version of Autocad and inventer using a .edu email. I prefer solidworks for bent sheetmetal but it's expensive. Tinkercad will get you .dxf files but isn't as fast as the others. Youtube is your friend for free training videos.

Cut some covers to figure out the machine and sell em here. Most anything you can cut for a cj I can help draw. I've got the 3d printed jeep project and I've been drawing everything I can anyways.

Fusion 360 by Autodesk is a good entry CAD program. It's pretty popular with the 3D printing crowd
Similar to Solidworks or Inventor but not quite as powerful.
The User Interface is pretty intuitive and easy to learn.
They have a free hobby license.
I think this is a good program to start with.

I'll be watching how this fits and works for you. I've got plans that this would help tremendously and have put it on my "toy list" for the shop. Next year maybe :susp:
