Long shot, but always worth a try.

I am rebuilding an old Warn front shift overdrive. It came to me missing the oil scoop, and shifter.

Figured someone out there may have parts laying around possibly left over from a worn out unit.

If you got either of these you are willing to part with please send a PM or respond to this thread.

Generally, Saturn overdrive parts are compatible so this brand new oil scoop from Advance Adapters should work: https://www.advanceadapters.com/4549

An original front shift lever will be harder to find. If you make your own, someone is reproducing shift knobs: https://www.ebay.com/itm/154805685645

This is the one I bought for my overdrive and fits well. They also sell the shifter.

Advance Adaptors may be my only solution. Their price on the oil scoop is not so bad, but their price on the shifter, and then charging $65 to ship USPS priority seems steep, especially since I can send something like that for $21.95 in the large flat rate rectangular box. Herm has a shifter kit that looks like a better deal, but last time I ordered anything from him it took months to get it.

I might just make the shifter and buy the oil scoop from AA unless I find a used one.

Somewhere in my disorganized piles of parts I think I have a shifter for one of these left over from a Jeep I had 30 years ago, but finding it might be next to impossible.

If you want to go with AA, let me know. I can pick it up and ship actual cost USPS flat rate.

Thanks, that is a very generous offer which would save me about $40.

Going to let this WTB sit for a while in case someone comes along with what I need sitting on their shelf.

I wish Herm was more organized, as he has good knowledge and a lot of parts. Unfortunately, you better be prepared to wait if you buy from Herm...

I have a whole bin of overdrive shifters. The only thing different front shift to back is the flatbar for a front shift or a rod for a rear. The actual shifter and pivot bracket are the same. If all you need is the flat bar I could send it in a flat rate envelope and I could throw in an oil scoop with it.
