I want a set of 15 x 7 wheels that are similar in appearance to the original 16" wheels.

Does anybody have a good source or ideas of some cheap options?

Ford truck center hole is too small. You could use CJ wheels from ca 68 on, which will be 15" diam, 5 on 5.5", 6" wide. Wagoneer 5-lug rims might be 7", I'm pretty sure the 6 lug Wagoneer wheels are 7" wide - maybe the earlier ones are too.

IH Scout but they are gonna be 6", Some Dodge trucks (pre 94) have a 4 1/4" center hole and are 5 on 5 1/2. Not hard to get center turned out to the right size if you find some you like though.

I'm running Ford truck rims on mine, 15X8, 5 on 5.5 spacing. you have to look for the rims that came optional on mid 60s through late 70s f100/f150 4WD.

there is a pic of one of mine in the photo gallery

If you find the centers, some wheel shops can remove them and put them in a wider rim, then you get the offset you want too, Probably the expensive route, but an option. The last set of wheels I had made ran about 40 bucks each with new centers and rims.

I used to have a spare set of 34x9x15 Swampers on ford rims that worked fine.Must have gotten lucky at the junkyard with the larger centers I guess.

One of those things you kick yourself later for selling.
I originally buoght them for an early Bronco I owned but used them on the flatfender too.
Come to think of it I could kick myself for selling the Bronco too........
