1956 Jeep CJ5 custom crawler - cars & trucks - by owner - vehicle...
Price is negotiable….
Technically, you've got 16 forward gears and 4 reverse
You'll just buy it back in a couple years!
What the heck.
Why are you selling?
Very nice trail worthy rig!!! I had a guy tell me once; you're happy to buy the Corvette and then happy to sell it, but if you sell your Jeep, happiness may not follow.
Be SURE this is the right thing for you!
That's definitely the type of vehicle a guy would miss after a few weeks.
Very nice, be patient you have to wait for the right buyer. Good luck
Sad to see you selling, it looks like a well built jeep. I don't think I've ever heard of a "matkins" frame, I may have to look into that as an alternative to a throttle down or stock replacement.
Good luck with the sale, I hope/suspect you'll be back eventually!
You are all right, I will likely miss it, haha. I missed it last time I sold it, but I need to consolidate some hobbies and this is the right move at this time. It has been a lot of fun in so many ways, not the least of which is the community. Matkins was a company in Billings, Montana, making aftermarket frames 20 or so years ago and they have since left the Jeep frame market.
Greg, that's a very nicely built CJ5 and it looks and sounds like a very capable trail rig. Wish it were closer to take a look at. Not knowing your current situation, I'd say keep it, but thats how I ended up with 13 Jeeps a few years ago. Once I started selling a few, it got easier. Now I'm down to just 5...........I think........I better go check again.
Thanks! Fixed it!
