Bulkhead Question

    When installing the brake pedals, parking brakes, etc in the bulkhead is there supposed to be gaskets or seam tape/puddy between the part and the bulkhead? I dont see it shown in the Detroit Iron parts book.

    I don't think so. Was it there originally? There is a big grommet for the wiring.

    As I recall there was a rubber "flap" attached to the pedal itself. When the pedal is up it's "sealed" (dust seal at best) other holes, like for the parking brake, or where a mechanical oil pressure gauge is used had grommets around them.
