Amazing. It wasn't that long ago it was some disconnected quarter panels and a cowl on stands.

    Nice work!

Love the classic Broncos. This and CJ's. Wondered where you went. Love the build and wonder what is next on your list. T-bucket roadster or Cobra build?

I'm so glad y'all didn't forget about me;) :D I get a little depressed as the days go by as they go by so quickly!

I have enough photos to sit here for hours on end, but I'll start catching y'all up on something I think is pretty cool!
I wanted a stock air cleaner and they really do cost quite a bit, but I found one on~where else~ ebay, but not only the air cleaner, but the funny plastic hose which goes beside the battery and up to through the radiator support. Ah, Fresh air~!

Let's back up a bit~ this is about the second day of ownership~ my gosh!

However after months of work as you all well know, I have a nice looking engine compartment, now to blend in this New to me stock air cleaner;)

Luckily, the flex hose which goes to the plastic "thing" is available, $$, not that bad.

The Ford blue just didn't go with the Sublime green, so sublime green air cleaner is what I wanted. It's always good to keep extra paint on hand!

It's the little things that make me happy and the new air cleaner is looking very nice indeed;)

This is that funny inlet tubing/hose, thing~ go for about 80bucks if you can find them, but mine came with the purchase of the air cleaner.

Now, this isn't the stock decal, but I think it works nicely, don't you? You can't see it,but there is a special support bracket that I purchased through ebay and just had to make a spacer for it to work. It originally mounted to the stock exhaust manifold. The silver flex tube is more for looks than function. But the system does suck in cool air through the radiator support vs super heated engine temps.

I do have my eyes on a new distributor and wires, but it's on back order, but the engine runs fine right now.

I'm glad to be back, forgive me for the time I was gone:(

ps: I have more to come!!!

Thanks for the warm re-welcome fellas !!!
Tomorrow is a local car show, my little car isn't in the trophy thing, just showing it and making conversation with humans~ :bananatool:, I wish I could say we were taking the Bronco, but alas, we are not. It's very close to being street legal though. So, the TR/mx (Miata mixed with Triumph) is all cleaned up, waxed and ready! I'll post pics tomorrow after the show is over;)

Gosh vtxtasy, I have so much to do on my small group of classics, as we all know, they're never truly finished! lol Gary(hubby) wants a '68 Camaro, a sentimental build, but they are quite difficult to find in a decent "affordable" condition. So in the meantime, I'll keep chugging away at the Bronco;)

Welcome back Dne! Now that the bronco is almost done, what's next on your list? Driving it to the Colorado epic this summer?

Hi y'all~ ;) The car show was crazy crowded, a relatively small place. My husband and I were in a long waiting line (45minutes or so) just to get it, but didn't make to the "arena" where the "show" was held as it was full. We would up parking away from the epicenter so we could leave when we wanted. The cars were mostly rice burner, kind of reminded me of an episode of Fast and Furious, music cranked up to where you couldn't talk to one another. It was still fun and there were only a few cars that I was drawn to as shown below. The rest like I said, slider type cars, lots of newer corvettes, camaros, etc. Funny but while in the line to get in, behind us was a brand new Ferrari, a beautiful green, paper tags~ it was new new, sadly I didn't get a picture of it, but it was just a Ferrari, but even funnier, a photographer was talking to me while we were in the waiting line, and he loved my car, started taking pics of it, I opened the hood and he took more pics~ the guy in the Ferrari must have been jealous! lol I didn't even get a pic of my TR/mx:( but I see it all the time. Despite having parked away from the "show", a few people stopped by my little TR, then wound up about a dozen people stopped to look at it, and I got to tell my story~ that was the highlight of the time being there;)

I'm rather unfamiliar with new cars, especially exotic cars, but they're fun to look at;)

I was at another car show several years ago and a fella brought his earlier Ford GT, he had the rear cowl up exposing the incredible engine/ tires, he allowed me to sit in it~ I was so honored, it fit me perfectly!;)
