THank you for the B-day wish!!

I like that!! I would like to do something out of the ordinary, and that is a good start! Keep em coming.
I did have a thought about a 'base color" whatever it is, with a super large BRONCO going diagonally across the body, but I like the Stroppe thing too!

Kind of funny, but I have that same hood! just would need to put the holes, or fake holes

Also be a good way to not have a tailgate! lol

How about a Parnelli Jones "big Oly" repop?
Or you could clone a Ren II. After all, this is a Jeep forum. I had a Ren II like the one pictured. If I only knew what it was worth before I swapped the body........ external-content.duckduckgo.com.jpe external-content.duckduckgo.com1.jpe

Hi;) I was looking at the 2qt paint guns at HF, but the reviews were mixed(as usual), so I went to ebay and found this Taiwan made professional Central Pneumatic system for 19 bucks. Looks to have been used maybe once and cleaned up really well. I connected it and seals well. I'll take it apart and scrub it down. Not sure what I'll do with it, maybe it might be useful for epoxy primer/high build? meh It'll be a month or so before any painting stuff happens;)
nothing much going on right now.

I'm having a difficult time posting something exciting! Anyway, gave up the idea of trying to salvage the windshield frame, and bought a new one; just got it. When the weather warms back up, I'll remove the old one~ why they had to use a piano hinge to mount them is beyond me! ;)

After sandblasting, it was just too holy!

I always suspected they used the piano hinges because they didn't include any tooling in the budget for a proper hinge, or they just didn't want to look like they were copying CJ-5s.

HI, while waiting for the cold spell to pass, I'm playing in my "clean" room with heat/ac;) While trying to assemble the new aftermarket grill(bought all of these parts for 500 from a FB seller and Bronco owner. They didn't go together very well on the Bronco, but here on the stands, I'm able to assemble it much easier; so I'm thinking I'll assemble this as a unit when it comes time. I'll leave this together then try to "install" as a test to see how it goes. Feeling kind of blah with the cold weather~ I don't like it.

Whoa, what a beautiful day it is here in Cypress, Tx! I finally got around to removing the old windshield frame. I cut it off at the hinges, then went after the spot welds. I'm happy to be replacing it, it was quite rusty beneath the hinge, but the metal is still ok. I'll be bolting it back in place when the time comes, but I can put it back on much later; it will be mat black;) Heading to Whataburger; splurge day!!! :bananatool:

I always get the #1, you know, Whataburger with cheese, all the way, mustard(can't seem to handle mayonase anymore), fries and a rootbeer;) I love rootbeer! But the patty-melt sounds delicious~ I'll have to break my streak and try something new!! ;)

Hi! Things are looking pretty good, the lines I feel are acceptable; a little more welding to do. Obviously I've removed the body from the frame with the maxjax; love that thing!

This low level will really help with sanding, making holes for the new windshield frame, etc.

This was just a test to make sure the grille would go on and fender lines would be ok.

Here are my seat frames, I'm not sure what to do about seats! I put mazda seats in just about everything; I may just take one of my mazda seats out and mock it up in the bronco; more than likely I won't use mazda seats, but I can dream right!! ;)

A hovering pile of panels is now a body! Nice job.

Early Mustang seats are a nice fit for Broncos.

That's good to know, when my 67 flooded from Harvey, I found an early set of Mustang seats and rejeuvenated them(link below), my gosh those seats are a real pain to re-upholster! I'm going to keep my eyes open! thanks;)
