Frankenjeeps are the best. Not nice enough to warrant "restoration" but you also get to pick and choose the best parts for your individual needs.

One of my favorite parts of my Jeep are the '57 parking lights on the grill, but I'm very excited about the dauntless v6, t18 transmission, and eventual low-wiper windshield

Great score, I found my 70 in a barn 5 years ago and just do little things to keep it running. The dauntless hadn't been started in 10 or more years when I found it, changed out the fuel lines, pump, and cleaned the tank, it fired right up. BEST JEEP ENGINE EVER!(imo)

Thanks, I've spent some time in Georgia, brutal humidity, probably hard to find one without a lot of rust, good find!

Thanks, I have to admit the Prairie Gold isn't my favorite old Jeep color, but I'm getting used to it, I think the stripes are awesome. I'm guessing they were a dealer installed option. Maybe they were trying to tie into the look of the Renegade 1 package.

That sorrel on the left might be kin to "Amigo", the horse I am on in my avatar picture, which was taken about a dozen years ago.

Amigo is mostly Doc Bar and Poco Bueno stock. He has some age on him now and is retired like me, but was one fine cutting horse in his younger years, and always the horse I wanted under me on the trails, because he is completely fearless and totally bomb proof. Here is a more recent picture of the horse, in his retirement pasture.

That is a nice looking horse. My pic was taken up at our daughter and son-in-laws farm, their horses. I doubt there's any special blood in any of them, just good old farm horses. He gives me some room in one of the sheds to park old Jeeps. I'm retired and help out up there from spring to fall.
