Back at it, cut the old tabs off the tie rod, moved about 3/4", tacked, checked left-right travel in the steering. Everything is good, with much more steering angle, about a 10 degree improvement, which doesn't sound like much, but it's 30%. Took it back to the table for the final weld. Installed and tightened everything, fired it up and cycled the steering. A major improvement. Here you can see the cylinder mount up over the spring, and the tie rod mount. Done for now. Next up- parking brake.
