Doing a P/S conversion on the Commando and can pick up mounting brackets from a 1965 Buick 300. Do they work on 225s?

I have used the parts from a '65 300 buick. They were the same as dauntless.I would get everything on the front of engine, brackets, pump, pulleys, harmonic balancer etc. If they are available. mike

Do you need everything from the front of the engine to make it work?

No but I took what I could get from the junk yard.About the same price. Those old buicks are getting scarce.

I know of at least 3 variations in pulleys ( water pump, crank and ps pump). Vote for grabbing everything.

Also make sure of the engine size of the Buick. The 400-455 have similar looking brackets but they won't work.
