How To Straighten A Bent Ramsey Fairlead?

    Well that was easy.

    The rollers freed up fairly easily with just a pipe wrench, and I tapped the pins out after grinding them free from the bottom. I tacked together a makeshift jig and clamped the frame to it to draw the high points down across it. I hit it with some heat and it fell into place. I got it to within 1/32" and called it good. It's a little bent, but at least it's no longer racked.

    ITLKSEZ tapped the old pins out of the vertical roller and made new ones, complete with grease fittings:

    I wonder why Ramsey put the top and bottom rollers with grease jerks but not the sides?

    Not new, some kind sole acquired it for me off ebay, :whistle:it looked alot worse when I got it.

    I put the long ones in the lathe & hit them with 80 grit
