You need to find out what the center hole is. It has to be 4.280" to fit over the hub on a front axle. I checked their web site and do not see that spec listed.

With a 4" backspacing your likely to run into rubbing in the front. not to mention on the edge of the rear wheel opening.

    Hi Mark

    The Center Hole is 4.250"

I have seen these used on A 1973 IHC Scout and A Jeep CJ3B .

    Brakes on both unknown.

The thing I wonder about is the Disc Brakes on My jeep .

Are they going to clear the caliper ?

Do You know the back spacing on the Kelsey Hayes Wheels

    Used by Jeep ?

I just thought maybe someone might have used these wheels

    and would know .

    Thanks

I have them, they fit fine with D30 with disks, and 11" rear drums.

the web site does not list them with the correct center hole, but they have them if you call, the BS can even be changed if needed.

Well interesting. Now if they just made them in a 16 x 5" or even 6" I would be all over them.

I looked at r&p web site, they use the Chevy calipers and brackets, that's what I'm using and they fit fine. I have another unused disk kit here, I believe it is R&P, disk measures 11.75". Something doesn't sound right

Looking at the picture of your wheel , what does the back side look like ?

What is the in side diameter of the back of the wheel ? Is it the same as the front side ?

Went ahead and ordered 1- wheel just to make sure it will fit .

Ordered part # 62-585504 it fits both front with disc brakes and rear with

drum brakes . Looks like a good replacement for the Kelsey Hayes wheels.

Thanks to every one for Your Help.

    Hi Mark

I don't have any way to do photos , the wheels are just like the pictures above

    Except I will put them on A 1967 cj6 .

Do they have the hubcap bumps like the ones pictured above?
What diameter caps would fit them?

    Hey Paul,
Those wheels look great. I've been eyeballing them myself for my CJ7 and saw them in white on a CJ3B. Glad to hear they clear the center hubs and the disc brakes.

And Donny I saw that Jegs deal as well but the wheels were out of stock at the time. Now they are back in stock and the price is back up to about $90. Regretting not pre-ordering them.

As a side note, I'm new to this forum and a CJ7 owner, but frankly love the way you early CJ5 guys do it. I feel I like the style of the builds on here a lot more than most jeep forums. More originality and sense of keeping the classic looks and function of the jeep.

    cheers to that,

    Bill

Thanks for the great information in this thread. I have been looking for a wheel like this to fit my 69 CJ5 with a Herm front disc conversion. Unfortunately the wheel #62-585504 with 4" backspacing does not fit. It hits the ends of the caliper on the inside edge of the rim. I really do like the style so will send it back and try 3.5" backspacing. If successful, I'll update this thread in case anyone else is in the same situation.

Would it be possible to grind the calipers for clearance?

Its a good question. I put a couple washers on to bump it out but it still hit. This leads me to believe that it would need more than a "slight" grind...My concern is that if I grind it down I'll weaken the caliper. That said, I do not have experience with an issue like this. Any insight is appreciated-tnx

I've worked at fitting several types of wheels over my factory calipers: I had to remove some of the casting on the front calipers of my D30 to run the early OE slot rims. There was no way the Renegade KH rims would fit even with grinding due to the inner rivets on the rims. I now run M/Ts that are close...no clearance to balance with stick on weight.
