Did the Jeep come with lift springs? If so, I'd guess it was part of the lift package. What are you trying to do, match it, replace it, what?

I didn’t think about that. I’m probably going to reuse it, but if it is a cheap set, I would replace it with something average instead of cleaning it up and replacing bushings. Does that make sense?

Hi, I have a stupid question about the purpose of this 90 degree inlet mounted below my fuel pump. What is the purpose of it and where is it suppose to be routed to? thanks again. fuel pump.jpg

That's supposed to be a plug to seal off where the the factory drilled a passage from the main oil gallery to the front cam bearing. Stock-wise noting ever connected to it. I'm betting you'll find that that elbow has been plugged, otherwise there would be oil shooting out.

thank you, any suggestions for plugging that hole. It started leaking today so I was curious if I had missed a part of the fuel system.

Good place to have access for an oil pressure gauge. Otherwise a small pipe-thread plug.

Unidentified transmission object. I recently picked up an extra dauntless that was connected to what seems to be a T-90 or T-14 but unlike my current 14, it doesn't have anything that says what it is. There are other casting numbers on it but all of the T-90s or 14s I have seen have the model cast into the case. T-case looks like a 20 to me. Maybe it came out of a pickup or wagon. It looks like a T-14. Of the T-90, T-86, T-14, it's the only one where the top cover bulges out to the middle bolts on the sides. The sides of the T-90 and T-86 top cover are straight.

Yup. T-14. The diamond shape bolt pattern for the top is a dead giveaway and the long one piece bellhousing adds to the provenance. ‘70/‘71 only.

That's a f-134 so you should have a little hose going to an oil filter then the front timing cover.
Some people don't use a bypass filter because they got board with a mill... and converted to a different filter set-up but they should still have the oil line from there to the timing cover.

Not sure if anyone else has guessed this one yet but...
After a little time in google images search, I'm betting it's part of one of these flex pins for the teeth of an excavator bucket.

I’m working on the wiring on my ‘64 cj5 and would like to know what generator I have. It has no id plate attached. The drive rivets are visible and measure 2-5/8” centers. Any ideas on the make and model of this? Photo in next post:flag:
