    Well was our hunting rig till Trans went out and been sitting for 6 yrs and I finily moved back home so ima start tinkering with her slowly to get her going agian and rebuilding her. Going to be a slow process but u see that I might need something and u have 1 let me know!!

    Looking at those front spring hangers.........Lots of Rust.........I would be taking a hard look at those unprotected frame rails from underneath.........

    Yes sir plan to wire wheel the whole thing R strip it all the way down to frame and cut off the rock sliders and make them bolt on. And par15 the whole frame.

    Did you open it up yet? If it has been sitting outside it may be "alittle" rusty inside.

    But for $100 and $178 shipped for rebuild kit. It's cheaper than $600 to repair my old Trans. and got exstra bell houseing and tcase to lol[​IMG][/IMG][​IMG][/URL][/IMG]

    mmm - milk shake - mix 90wt and water, stir, add a little rust and bingo.

    Remember - don't bead blast gears to clean them ;)

    Yea takes the tolerance off them I was thinking steel wool if u can clean rust off a gun and not hurt blueing should be good for gears!!!

    Got my Novak rebuild kit in today!! More pics to come of the rebuild of it. And dana 20 will prolly be next. [​IMG][/IMG]

    Ok so trying to get her running. Had starter rebuilt. Got new solinoid and new battery. Turn key nothing now trying to figure this stuff out!!!
