I’ve had my BDS suspension for over 5 1/2 years, it’s still like the day I put it on. Very happy with it!

Here's another vote for BDS over Rough Country. We put BDS 2 1/2" springs and shocks on the '53 A1 about 5 years ago, nice ride. The '70 CJ5 Dauntless we bought last year came with a fairly new set of Rough Country 2 1/2" springs and shocks, rides like a buck board. I've loosened the shackle bolts and torqued them to 25 lbs and aired the tires down to 20 pounds, it helped some but it'll be getting a set of BDS when the budget allows.

not yet. I'm still rocking (what I believe to be) the original leaf springs from the 50s.... I'm sure they are extra tired after all these years.

I may have said this before, but "jeeplean" seems just a little bit like a First World Problem to me.

Who the heck is going to notice if you are using your jeep off-road as God intended???

I notice when I'm 3" or so off camber. makes me think I have a flat, so I have to lean all the way out and look at my tires constantly. its annoying

But if you are pushing the envelope off road, it is going to be wheels up sooner in one direction than the other.

Really? That's not leaning, that is falling over.

I wheel Madeline enough, it don't really matter. But I can run the drivers front tire pressure up a bit to compensate, She's probably not a good role model though!

Question about the CJ lean - is it worse across the rear frame crossmember (below the tailgate) than across the front forward of the grill? Now that I have completed my first test drive I’m wondering if I missed a bolt or some thing… we did check that the frame was straight when I sandblasted it, although that was three years ago at this point. My garage floor slopes down from the center but not by as much as the jeep is leaning.

Jack the rear bumper up & use that 4' level to ' See ' it's level. Then take a look around & ' See " what you discover. May need to add a leaf to the right rear ?..... But then again , I'm not expert on much, just supportive.

Mine leans to the drivers side as most do I believe. We flipped the springs from side to side and it seems to have helped a little bit. Ours was also in a head on collision in the 80's where it pushed the driver side frame rail 11" out of alignment so we could have a completely different situation on our hands.

One could always put 15" wheels on one side, and 16" on the other. If one cared, which one doesn't.
