    Thanks,

Not the finned drums - and I believe the KH wheels have issues. I did run 11" drums with stock flattie 15" wheels for years so I know some fit fine.

Depends on the year of the wheels. Pre 64 15" wheels do not fit 11" drums.

If you want 11"-ers for the rear, you could pick parts for a '72 or '73 CJ-5. They had 11" drums without fins. Jeep started using the finned drums in '74 and all '75s had finned drums. Backing plates should all be the same. Rears will have the provision for the foot-operated parking brake; if you retain the stock parking brake, fronts or rears will work fine.

JMO - upgrading the rears from 10" to 11" won't make much difference in stopping power. Most of the braking is done by the front wheels. If you need pieces for your 10" brakes, you may be able to find some used parts with a WTB post in the Classifieds here.

Check the inner rim center to rim attachment. The older rims were riveted, whereas the later rims were welded. The rivets on the early rims often interfere with 11" drums, but the welded version may clear the drum.

This is the usual, "it depends". There are lots of variables so truthfully there are no definitive answers other than mock one up and see if it works. The issue is the sheer amount of different wheel types used over the years. The riveted ones typically won't work. Some of the welded ones fit, some don't. Typically, but not all, of the 16" will clear.

I have stock 66 axels on my Jeep with10" brakes, they work good for me, but I bought a set of 11" for the front, just because they were in the classified here. I plan to put them on the front at some point, but not in any hurry, my 10" are safe and work well for now.

Rockauto.com has all the parts for 9, 10 or 11" brakes.
