got the whole weekend set aside to finally get my 11 inchers installed front and back. I bought two different sets of front brakes from a couple members of this forum (from a 75 and a 76 if i remember correctly). Pads and drums were good on both sets so i bought new cylinders (the bigger ones front and smaller ones back), new hardware hold down kits, new axle seals front and back. I will be replacing most brake line components as well and repacking bearings and inspecting kingpins. Bought a puller too.

thats the checklist so far... am i missing anything?

I don't have a torque wrench... should i borrow one or just put the new backing plates on "real tight"? oh and im installing a set of Warn locking hubs while im at it... also bought from another member... anything i need to look out for there?

    thanks for any advice :)

There's an article in the tech section on this conversion by Mruta, you might check it to see how your checklist compares.

If there are let me know so I can add them to the article, it's supposed to be there to help eliminate "surprises" and "gotchas". :)

the backing plate on the right has the holes drilled for the flanged 44 and the one on the left has the tapered (same as 25/27/30) pattern.
