I am thinking about converting my unused manual choke knob/cable to a hand throttle knob/cable on my v6 with the 2g carb.

Does anyone have any pictures showing how they connected the hand throttle cable to the throttle linkage on the carb? I can't figure out how to rig it so the cable/knob doesn't push out of the dash every time I use the foot throttle.

It seems this has been discussed before, but couldn't find a thread with working photo links.

" so the cable/knob doesn't push out of the dash.."

Pass cable inner through a loose hole on the throttle lever, with a stop on the outer end only. When using the foot accelerator, the cable slides freely in the hole. Check out the OEM f-134 set-up.

Use a chain from the throttle to the end of the choke cable. Leave enough room from the end of the choke cable to allow the throttle on the carb to go full open.
