Looking for yalls 2 cent's worth. It's a 1967 Jeep V6 that is driven 75% off-road and sees highway speed rarely/briefly. I have done the 11" brake swap, and brakes currently do good job of stopping the jeep. Right now I have the transmission out for a sm465 swap, and the body on. I have thought about installing Herm's dual reservoir master cylinder for safety due to fear of having a brake hose fail. However, I have read it is hard to do with the body on, and requires new brake lines which I don't know how to bend. I have no plan in the near future of taking the body off. If it ain't broke don't fix it, or tackle it now since I have decent access with the tranny out? I have experienced failing brakes before in an old Chevy and didn't care for it, but downshifting and luck got me out of trouble.
