If Your having problems getting matched belts look for belts with the same mold numbers .
They should work .
Do You have an amp meter if so they can cause A lot of problems.
Best to change to A volt meter .
I have seen where an oil bath air cleaner is to full of oil and it can be sucked into the carb.

I used Brennan's Geo disc brake brackets on My 74 CJ5 , No machining is Required.
The rotor fit's over the hub . Very easy conversion .
If the body is in good shape I would fix it . That's just My opinion . New engine or what ever it needs.

It looks like the steering gear out of an early 50's Hudson . and yes they were A ross steering gear.
Looks just like My dura craft , I've had it for 38 years works fine but the spindle does wobble.
Have put new bearings in it and it still wobbles.

I have used Painless # 80174 low pressure brake switch w/pigtail on both My M37 and My 1974 CJ5
with no Problems .
