Has anyone had trouble with the wheels clearing the calipers? Looks like I need 1" spacers.
I've never heard it called a bung plug.
Has anyone ever had a problem with the fill plug not clearing after a Powerlok was installed in a D44? Everything was fine before. I don't know...
As said before, it's a stay cable. It's a safety feature to keep the engine and fan from shifting into the radiator.
I used Brenan's plates. Good quality at a very reasonable price.
Thanks. I'll compare that to what I have and let you know.
Yes but I don't think the dimensions are different.
It's an M38A1. Any idea if it's the same as an M38?
You can put an fuel pressure regulator inline to control the pressure. Not sure that would help but worth considering.
Installed a Power Lok in an early Dana 44 and the fill plug clearance is causing a problem. Is it typical that a larger sized diff cover is needed?
It's installed but haven't tried it out yet. Scope creep brought about bodywork, paint, hydraulic clutch conversion, disc brakes at the front and...
I believe the T98 and T18 cases are the same.
It's in the back of my mind that the T98A and Dana 18 do not share gear oil. Can anyone confirm or dispute that?
$70 goes fast.
I'm under the impression you can order some items direct from MD Juan. Check their website or facebook page.
I appreciate my removable floor pieces. That, and an engine hoist, makes for a smooth removal and installation process.
I went with a manual saggy and haven't had any problems. I was leery of going power with an fhead.
I think Daryl is being too polite. A cheap puller is cheap for a reason. The OTC puller he pictured is pretty much the standard.
Are the holes threaded? That would sure save a lot of effort.
