I was going to use my t90, but after the cost of that converstion it is about the same.. would be a little less work I think to do the 420
Doing a 4.3 swap in my 55 CJ5. Would this be something to consider to throw behind it? It has the 4.3 bellhousing with a sm420/d18.
Need a little help with my t90 transmission. 1-R shifts fine. 2nd has a little resistance every so often, 3rd shifts fine 75% of the time.

I used the old hard lines, but where they convert to soft, I used
Centric Parts 150.66055 Brake Hose
got mine from rock auto.. seems to work fine.

I took the yf completely apart. Stripped and cleaned everything.
Sure enough it’s running right now. 20 inHg...
Normal for it sitting for a day or two. I checked the float level and it was correct
I took the top off and checked the rod. Looked right. I think I’m going to remove the carb and clean it and see if that does anything.

Yeah. I was getting maybe 15-16 at a high idle
Timing didn't change.
New gas, hadn’t been sitting more then a couple days. 10-20 miles
It’s not the return. Messed with the carb tonight and I couldn’t get it idle well under 1200rpm. :/
Was driving home the other day. Driving at normal speed with no problems. Got to the stop sign right before my house.
Jeep was barely idling....
