I can't tell from the pic but it looks like the fender and "body" are wider then the cowl. Maybe someone who has some skills built the body from a JEEP? The cowl screams JEEP to me.

looked like a typical jeep seat but in the photo it looks like the pass. side wheel well goes up to far for a seat to fit there? Honestly i had just fought my way through a field of prickers/ brambles/ whatever and was cut, bleeding, sweating etc. so i didnt even notice that.

Looks like an mb or GPW on my I phone. The cowl was a little narrower than the tub on flattys. Or at least appeared so.

The rear does, but the front fenders are different. Not sure I've seen one like this.

Finally able to get a better look. The seat looks like it has a fuel tank cap hole in the driver seat which is mb GPW. Definitely a flatty tub and cowl. Looks like someone modified the rear wheel houses and front fenders. The driver seat also looks flatty as well, the fuel filler hole notwithstanding

Ehhhh. I dunno. The whole door cut out area is different than the pic above, as are the fenders. I don't know what it is. It should be investigated to it's end though. Joe, you need get to the bottom of this or let someone else have a go at it. From what I can see in the pics, the mods look very professional. The lips around the door openings look almost factory. Again, judging from the picture. I'd be all over this if it were in my neck of the woods. I love mysteries like this.

Joe, it looks like it started out life as an MB. Some of the indications are the rear tool boxes in the fenders and the hole in the seat frame for gas tank filler.

Could it be a Ford pygmy with a modified door opening? I've spent an hour or so looking at old jeep picts and prototypes and I can't find anything that matches that. The front fender is odd.

I'd drag it out just to figure out what it is....

I know this is off the wall, but is the Jeep on private property? Have you asked the land owners about it?
